Performance and Security
Liberta has its own virtualized infrastructure in a data center at Hetzner, in Germany. Priority is given to encryption where possible, data is replicated on a triple mirror in data centers in Germany and France through a 1 Gbps internet connection.
The servers are scalable and sized to provide maximum performance.
Ethics
Inclusive, transparent, and rejecting any exploitation of data for profit or capitalism, Liberta is a platform whose ideals are anchored and affirmed in its Manifesto. For two years, she was a member of the CHATONS collective ("Collective of Transparent, Open, Neutral, and Supportive Alternative Hosts"), originally initiated by Framasoft, which we left following a revision of their charter in 2023 (we are still friends!).
